Today is Saturday

Today is Saturday, December 4, 2021. It’s the 338th day of 2021. There are 27 days remaining in the year. The temperature was a cool 70 degrees with fog and drizzle. I’ve already been to my local Starbucks for morning coffee and writing. I’m now back at the house.

Today’s photo has me sitting at the table in the backyard. I have the umbrella raised because of the fog and mist. I’m enjoying a bowl of Cheerios with a cup of blueberries. 

The Health Value of Blueberries and Green Tea

I started eating blueberries on a regular basis when my late wife was first diagnosed with advance Stage three Melanoma cancer. The oncologist recommended a cup of blueberries a day and two glasses of iced green tea or two cups of hot green tea per day. Both have magic properties to increase your immune system.

A large cup of hot decaffeinated green tea most evenings gets me relaxed and ready for bed. In late afternoon I enjoy a cup of green tea instead of coffee. I find it relaxing and calming.

My regular breakfast has the blueberries with either Cheerios or oatmeal. The gastroenterologist and cardiologist recommended the Cheerios and oatmeal. Seems they both help with cholesterol and daily regularity. 

Coffee Snob

Am I a coffee snob? I can taste the difference between and identify a Starbuck Pike Place Roast, Starbucks, Dark Roast, or Starbucks Blonde Roast coffee.
